Sign-in and account help

If a page fails or an action errors, note what happened first. Repeated clicks rarely fix the cause.

If sign-in fails

Open the site by its address and check the bar before continuing. Sign-in goes through Steam OpenID: verify the host in the address bar of the page that opens.

If account data looks wrong

Check that you are signed into the account you expect. Refresh before repeating an action; match records by time and identifier where history exists.

On a shared device

Close the session when done. If you see unfamiliar activity, stop and check the security of the linked account in its own settings.

What to send support

Page, action, exact error text, time with a zone and, if any, the operation id. Screenshots help when the problem is visible; hide secrets.
